Our History
VIP Mortgage Inc was founded in 2005 by Clark Miller, Brian
Shatto, Russell Pulliam, and Chuck Weaver.
Prior to starting VIP, the four partners were the Operational
Managers for what was then the largest independently owned
mortgage company in Tarrant County. Over the course of 3
years they quadrupled the size of the company.
VIP aims to provide real estate financing solutions matching each
customer and their unique needs.
We intend to provide our customers with "white glove" service.
The customer will receive the best of all worlds - excellent
customer service, great quality with multiple options, and a good
overall price.
Meet The Team
We are a company that prides ourselves on integrity and honesty. We take
full responsibility for our employees with regards to all acts, errors, or
omissions.As we like to say...
"this is our livelihood and we would in no way jeopardize it".
Clark Miller Clark has over 16 years experience in the mortgage industry
starting in Colorado in the late 1980’s. After moving to Dallas in 1995, Clark worked
with Nationsbank as a Vice President, overseeing 40 employees in the employee
mortgage operations division. In addition to underwriting, supervising the process
employees, and supervising process flow he also worked with Fannie Mae and
Freddie Mac securing waivers for exemptions on the process as needed. After
consolidation due to the Nationsbank/Bank of America merger he went to work for
the Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) which gave him a unique insight into the
regulatory as well as Banking and Thrift side of the mortgage industry. Getting back
into the broker industry after the FHLB, he worked briefly with First Choice Lenders
and then went on to CPF in 2002. At CPF he was instrumental managing all 6 of the
branches, along with Brian and Russell, to increase production from around $4
million a month to over $20 million by the end of 2004. |
Brian ShattoBrian has over 8 years of experience in the mortgage industry.
After working for many of the Dallas areas’ major mortgage companies he started
with CPF in 1999 and he quickly became the top volume and unit producer for the
company. Brian was in charge of the warehouse lines of credit. He has extensive
knowledge in the area of subprime loans and was key to CPF securing a “subprime”
line of credit, one of the few in the industry to the best of our knowledge. Brian is
second only to Chuck in volume produced at VIP and in fact produces more units
than Chuck.

Russel PulliamRussell has over 5 years of experience starting with CPF in early
2000. Prior to CPF Russell worked in the automobile industry as a finance and
insurance manager for over 6 years. This gave Russell unique customer service
management experience that still is evident today. Russell along with Clark ran the
day to day operations for CPF with Brian managing the subprime channel. Prior to
becoming one of the operations managers at CPF he actually ran the CPF branch in
Aledo Texas.

Chuck WeaverChuck started in the mortgage industry a little more than 4 years
ago with First Choice Lenders. Then making the move with Clark to CPF where he
was the largest originator in volume and revenue in 2003 and 2004. Chuck has a
unique way of addressing a mortgage and is right at home with all of the new niche
products now available within the mortgage industry. He is very adept at marketing
and has proved nimble at being able to exploit trends in the market to increase
production.
